Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords gets an update

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords gets an update after 10 years

Some games get an update after a year or two, and that’s usually already a stretch. That makes it all the more surprising that Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords gets an update today 10 years after its launch on PC. And it’s no small update either with high definition resolutions added to the list of video settings as well as Steam Workshop and console controller support. The full list of features is as follows: 37 achievements to be earned through gameplay Steam Cloud saves Native widescreen resolution support Resolution support up to 4K and 5K Support for controllers, including Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4, along with several others (check the system requirements for details) Steam Workshop support! First ever Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage to be unveiled on April 17th

For the longest time, gaming enthusiasts everywhere have been clamoring for Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage. We know that about a month ago gameplay footage was shown off to retailers thanks to EA executive, Peter Moore, who kindly teased some pictures after that fateful meeting. Well, it looks like EA is ready to show off that footage to the general public, and will be doing so while hosting a panel at the Star Wars Celebration which runs from April 16-19 – the exact time and day will be April 17th at 10:30am PT. What do you think about Star Wars Battlefront gameplay footage ...

Star Wars Battlefront is being shown off behind closed doors to retailers; enter E3

Star Wars Battlefront. Those three words have sent shivers down my spine (the good kind) ever since I laid eyes on the teaser trailer that was shown at EA‘s E3 2013 press conference. We’ve seen previous little about the DICE developed game, and while we have little doubt that the game is probably going to live up to its namesake, we can’t help but want to see more. EA executive, Peter Moore, isn’t exactly helping: A GREAT show with my friends/partners @GameStop. Superb ovation for latest game play footage on @starwars Battlefront pic.twitter.com/mrGAHcT7VK — Peter Moore (@petermooreEA) March 3, 2015 From what we can tell, Moore has just spend the day showing off Star Wars Battlefront to retailers like Gamestop presumably to get them excited for the game’s release. Whether the public is going to get a glimpse of this footage is anyone’s guess, but we’re sure to see more at this ...

Storming Australia: Man walking around Australia in a stormtrooper suit for charity

This isn’t technically tech news, but it does include a stormtrooper costume which makes it kinda nerdy – and right now it’s warming my heart quite a lot. In a month that typically sees men grow copious amounts of facial hair in the name of charity, one man is walking around Australia in a stormtrooper suit to raise money for just as worthy a cause. Scott Loxley, a member of the 501st Legion, is walking around Australia, some 15,000kms and spanning 18 months, to raise money for the Monash Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. The 501st Legion is an international costuming organization that specializes in raising funds for charity, and Loxley is doing his part by doing his trek in the full Sandtrooper costume from Star Wars, no mean feat in a country that is currently in Spring and moving quickly into Summer. Loxley is hoping to raise $100,000 for the Monash Children’s Hospital, but ...
