Battlefield 4 Dragons Teeth

Battlefield 4 Dragon’s Teeth DLC confirmed for July 15th via Battlelog

The other day a tweet went out that alerted people that Battlefield 4 Premium was 20% off. It also stated that Premium subscribers would be getting their hands on the next DLC on July 15th. That tweet was quickly pulled, but not before everyone jumped on it and snagged screenshots. We assumed it was going to work out to be correct. While we still have no clue what the patch update that was released last night did, we do have official confirmation that July 15th is indeed the day that Premium Battlefield 4 owners will be able to poke about Dragon’s Teeth. Dragon’s Teeth sees five new weapons making their Battlefield debut in addition to a new unlockable gadget, the Ballistic shield. Dragon’s Teeth also introduces a new game mode, Chain Link, a twist on the fan-favorite Conquest mode that sees squads battle to link capture points in order to achieve victory. Guide to SEO the Google Way

A Beginners Guide to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) the Google way

I don’t claim to be an expert on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), although I have been writing content and building websites for some years, so I decided to write a beginners guide to SEO. In this guide I’ve documented some of my findings and lessons I’ve learned. Technology is constantly changing and search engines are being optimized and altered to find the best true content on the web.  By true content, I’m referring to the content that is original and interesting and not just created in an attempt to make money and trick search engines into better rankings.  Google is the largest search engine system used today and is the focus of this article, although the lessons learned here should affect your ranking in most search engines indexing your content. You can find information and announcements from Google on their Webmaster Tools blog related to their search engine technology, what to optimize and more. ...

Project Ara

100 most active Ara Scouts will begin beta testing real Project Ara Devices

Project Ara is the modular phone that aims to take the smartphone world to all new heights, eventually. The principal is basic, buy what you want and upgrade as you go along. All the parts are independent of each other and allow you to swap out for, say, a better camera or more RAM. Kind of how we do with computers, only with a smartphone and all without having to open up the device. At Google I/O Google showed off the first booting prototype of Project Ara, and now it looks as though they are moving forward with their previous promise that 100 people would be getting one to beta test. Since October 2013, over 90,000 have signed up to make Project Ara a reality. Your passion and creativity were — and are — instrumental in turning an idea into a product. As promised, the 100 most active Ara scouts ...

Urban Armor Gear Case HTC One M8 in Hand

Urban Armor Gear Case for the HTC One M8 Review

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) sent through the UAG case for the HTC One M8 claiming MIL-STD 801G with excellent impact resistance and a feather weight design.  It’s a manly looking case that’s for sure so lets take a closer look and see what it offers. I’ve read a few reviews of UAG cases before, and I they do seem to have a good reputation for creating a nice balance between form, features and protection.  Sitting with a suggested retail price of $34.95, they are in the middle of the road as far as price goes. Opening the box revealed the UAG case, screen protector and selection of goodies to help you apply the screen protector without dust and air bubbles getting in the way. The screen protector is identical to most others.  Easy to apply and almost invisible once installed.   These are the specs from the UAG website: Designed ...

Android TV Screen Capture

Google tries again with Android TV where they failed with Google TV

Android TV!  Sound familiar?  Sounds like Google playing semantics with the previous Google TV product which launched four years ago and eventually failed.  That may be what you’re thinking, but you couldn’t be farther from the truth.  While the original Google TV products were based on the Android platform, they were based in a separate and restricted set of libraries.  They also tried to make a product that brought the web to your TV promoting it for browsing and more.  This is where Android TV differs. Android TV is simply expanding the same developer tools libraries with a new form factor, so almost anything you currently have on your mobile Android device will also work on Android TV with a simple addition of a device type.  That really is it putting simply and there’s more to it and extensions specifically for TV, but it will make it much easier for ...
