Drone Crash: Walkera QR X350 Pro Motor Failure at about 400ft

I’m trying to test out the drone and see what it can do so I can write a full review for you guys but it doesn’t help if the motor fails on my Walkera QR X350 Pro at about 400 feet and drops to the ground.

I just wanted to share this slight hiccup we just had today.  We’ve sent an email to Walkera to try and work out what could have possibly caused this failure but that still doesn’t help when we have a snapped landing gear and Walkera G-2D Gimbal camera mount.

    I have bought a 350 pro and had the same problem on the first flight. I’m getting a new one but I am afraid it will happen again. Do you know what is causing or how to solve this issue now?

      It’s probably the pilot skill issue….haha

    It’s probably caused by the Low Voltage Cutoff problem that the X350 is infamous for. Check out about LVC and how to disable it here:

    Another thing is, the X350 Pro parameter settings in Mission Planner are best left untouched. If you’ve tweaked around with it, the best thing to do is restore it back to factory settings.

    My 350 pro did similary. dropped 25 meters to the ground. Today i noticed that each motor had 2 long and 2 shorter screws in each motors, and the long screws was touching the copper wires. sigh. now i have to order 4 new motors to a price of 90 euros..
