Grand Theft Auto 5 release date has finally been confirmed for November 18th on Xbox One, PS4

In case you haven’t heard, the official Grand Theft Auto 5 release date has been confirmed. After all the assorted leaks that jostled back and forth between the 7th and 14th of November, Rockstar Games has set the record straight and announced that it will be arriving on November 18th for Xbox One and PS4, however, PC gamers will have to wait a little longer as the game will be releasing on January 27th, 2015 for the platform. Thankfully, this marks the end of a long period of speculation. To celebrate, Rockstar Games even released a new trailer to celebrate the news – check it out below:

For those of you wondering, all previous players of GTA 5 with a Social Club account will be able to migrate over their account to your choice of PC, PS4 and Xbox One. For those worried that this is just going to be a port of the game, your wait is going to be rewarded – the new ‘enhanced’ versions will include new weapons, activities, and plenty of updated and revamped content from the original game, as well as denser traffic, a new foliage system(!) and brand news songs courtesy of the migration to the newer, more powerful consoles.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is out now on Xbox 360 and PS3, will be released on Xbox One and PS4 on November 18th, 2014, and PC on January 27th, 2015.
