That Poké Ball pattern Vivillon is now available in Europe and Australia on Pokemon X and Y

By now, I’m pretty sure there are least 1 million different types of Pokémon thanks to the several hundred versions of Pokémon games that have now been released. That doesn’t mean that the recipe is getting stale, though, as Pokémon X and Y have apparently managed to keep their Nintendo 3DS gamers quite happy by offering them exclusive versions of Pokémon through the Mystery Gift function in the game. This time around, it is a Poké Ball pattern Vivillon, which we previously saw offered only in North America, but has now opened availability to Europe and Australia too.

If you also happen to be in Germany, it’s been reported that Gamestop stores are now offering codes to download a Charizard with a version of Charizardite determined by the version of Pokémon you have (i.e. either X or Y). Whether this promotion will be offered in other countries remains to be seen, but it seems like an real effort is being made to keep all the Pokémon fans happy. It’s also not a bad way to keep the game relevant before the next version of Pokémon is inevitably released, with another thousand new Pokémon…

Are these special offers keeping you interested in Pokémon X and Y? What other Pokémon  would you like to see get offered up?
