Murdered: Soul Suspect studio Airtight Games is closing its Doors

I first encountered Murdered: Soul Suspect at E3 2013 at the Square Enix booth. After watching the trailer and about 10 minutes of gameplay, I was really interested in seeing how the game would eventually turn out. It was a really unique mix of action, adventure and stealth, and particularly intriguing because you are supposed to be solving your own death. Unfortunately, just over a year after that, Murdered: Soul Suspect studio Airtight Games is said the closing its doors after 10 years in the games industry.  The photo below is of the studio’s front door:

The office space inside was said to be filled with desks and computing equipment, and perhaps most heart-wrenchingly of all, several E3 awards. It’s always a shame to see game studios go under, particular ones that have put their heart and soul into games that are thinking outside the box. Airtight Games also had familiar game titles under its belt including the original Xbox game, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and console games Dark Void and Quantum Conundrum.
